A JAMIE Hart treble ensured Bewdley Town's 4-1 West Midlands Division One victory over Wyrley Rangers.

Lewis Pountney, Sam Pountney, Ben McCloughlan, Ben Drewe, Tom Stewart and Neil Turford all returned to the squad, but manager Craig Payton kept the side which won the previous week.

There were early misses by Bewdley, including Gavin Smith's header in front of goal following Matt Bayton's corner, and Steve Thomas made a super save in goal when he tipped Dminera Riley's header around the post.

In the 42nd minute Nathan Williams and Smith combined to set up Jamie Hart and he sprinted clear before coolly putting Bewdley 1-0 up. Five minutes later the score was doubled, when Wyrley's John Foster lobbed his own goalkeeper.

There were three further attempts at adding to the score before the interval, but Hough's shot went wide, and Bartoez Sholak, in the Wyrley goal, denied Hart and Hough.

Hart slid his second goal in after being set up by Hough in the 76th minute.

Andy Rhoades scored the Wyrley consolation, but three minutes later Hart completed his hat-trick to underline Bewdley's superiority.

They travel to Ludlow Town Reserves on Saturday.
