CHARLIE and Jamie are two advertising gurus with major hang-ups: they are spending too much time at work and not enough at play (with their kids).

So, when their latest campaign "Veggio's-the vegetable cereal kids love to eat!" falls flat, losing them their jobs, a unique opportunity arises.

With only one competitor around - the exclusive but expensive Chapman Academy - they decide to open a creche called Daddy Day Care.

So the dads get to see their offspring 24/7 and make money at the same time.

What they didn't bank on was a dozen problem children joining them.

They range from a lad who only speaks Klingon to another who thinks he's the superhero "The Flash" who is always dressed in costume.

With the two buddies having zero experience in this field, the mayhem begins, big time.

Eddie Murphy stars in the lead role of Charlie and the villain of the piece is well played by Angelica Huston.

The soundtrack is great and look out for a special guest appearance from those aging rockers Cheap Trick.

Overall, Daddy Day Care is an enjoyable movie.

My seven-year-old gave it a high five. However, my five-year-old struggled to stay awake!
