Pershore III 5, Kidderminster III 4.
PERSHORE took the lead with a goal for the scrapbooks as Tom Handley passed to youngest son Gra-ham who sent a glorious 40-yard pass to elder brother Anthony who finished with aplomb!
Steve Mears made it 2-0 with a drive from the edge of the circle but a stunned Kidder-minster fought back and scored three goals in ten minutes to lead 3-2 at half-time.
The visitors started the second half intent on increasing their lead and only good goalkeeping by Rob Smith and last-ditch defending by Paul Bozward, Andy Gould and Gavin Pugh kept them out.
Mears levelled matters after a ten-minute stoppage after a rainstorm and the same player then completed his hat-trick before provider Anthony Handley converted a short corner to make it 5-3.
Kiddy snatched a fourth and the final whistle was welcomed by a relieved winning side.
