A CENTRE for people with learning and physical disabilities has been earmarked for housing under the latest proposals for Redditch Local Plan.
Millfields is set to be sold off and will move to a new site at St Stephen's First School.
The Windsor Road centre and its surrounding land, as well as land off Prospect Hill and two allotment sites in Farm Road and Sillins Avenue in Lakeside, have been added in Local Plan 3.
The first draft of the proposals, which lists areas for housing over the next 10 years, was put out for consultation in the spring and more than 830 people responded.
A revised plan has now been drawn up and some of the original proposed sites have been taken out, including land at the back of the Alexandra Hospital and in Great Hockings Lane, Webheath.
A second draft of the plan will go before the executive committee tonight, then full council on Monday before going out to consultation for a final time.
