POLICE were called to a car fire near Matchborough Centre shortly after 1am on Friday.
The full extent of the damage to the red Ford Fiesta, parked in the car park in Matchborough Way, is yet to be confirmed.
A police spokesman said: "Our initial inquiries suggest the fire may have been started deliberately and we're appealing to anyone who saw or heard anything connected to the incident to get in touch."
