Kings Norton 24
Cleobury Mortimer 0
KINGS Norton scored two tries in each half without reply to stay undefeated in the North Midlands One.
The Ash Lane team absorbed 15 minutes of pressure before their backs eventually opened the scoring with winger John Hefford finishing off an attack to touch down under the posts and Ken Whitehouse converting.
Norton scored again just on half time as Russell Gauden crashed through the visitors' defence and fed Whitehouse with a perfectly timed pass for him to score and convert his own try.
After the break Kings Norton's pack began to dominate the set pieces to give the backs plenty of ball but were unable to finish off their stubborn visitors until late on.
Winger Hefford scored twice more for the Hopwood side.
The Kings men take on Birmingham CS on Saturday as they bid to continue their unbeaten form.
