Headless Cross Ladies 4

Kidderminster Harriers Ladies 3

A HAT-TRICK from striker Teressa Boddington earned Headless Cross Ladies their third win out of four games.

Cross manager Rob Auld fielded a weakened side with both Mandy Ellicott and Alison Wayley missing the tie but Felicity Pate was pinched from the reserves.

After going a goal behind after just five minutes the Abbey Stadium tenants equalised when Lisa Paranuzzi's goalbound header was parried out to Boddington, who made no mistake.

Elaine Frampton took Headless Cross into the lead direct from a corner but Kidderminster came back and the teams were level at the break.

Cross came out and dominated the early exchanges after half time with Boddington (right) netting her second after a Frampton throughball.

And the Cross striker made sure of her hat-trick moments later when Denise Markham played in Boddington to fire home.

Kidderminster scored another with 10 minutes to go but left it too late to equalise.

Cross travel to Rea Valley on Sunday but both the first team and the reserves are still looking to strengthen their squad.

n Headless Cross Ladies Reserves took on Droitwich Spa looking for their first win in the league.

Mandy Hill got the reserves off to the best possible start with a volley but Spa levelled before the break.

Spa hit two more goals in the first 10 minutes of the second half to put the tie beyond doubt.

The reserves take on Kidderminster Reserves at the Abbey Stadium Sunday at 2pm.
