REDDITCH Golf Club's Chris Bromley was crowned Worcestershire Matchplay Champion last Sunday (September 26).
The 22 year old took defending champion Paul Scarrett to a fifth extra hole in the final and won the title with a birdie at Blackwell Golf Club.
Bromley was one of the top 16 players in the county eligible to enter the prestigious competition and teed off the event at Redditch Golf Club on May 20 and 21.
The cup quarter finals were held at the Blackwell club on September 19 before the semis and final got under way last weekend.
