A STUNNING goal from trialist Youssou Diop was the only real highlight from Kidderminster Harriers' 2-1 loss at Gloucester on Saturday.
In a poor first half for Harriers, the Southern League Premier side took a two-goal lead.
Keeper Danny Lewis, under pressure from a Wayne Hatswell pass, blasted the ball straight at Lee Davis who tapped in on 22 minutes.
Then Lewis failed to collect an Adie Harris corner six minutes later, leaving defender Dan Avery to hook the ball home.
An improved second period saw Diop find the top corner with a 35-yard drive on 51 minutes.
But keeper Matt Bath prevented an equaliser, denying Jesper Christiansen, Ian Foster, Jamie Gleeson and his own defender Chris Jones.
Harriers: Lewis (Danby 46); Turner (McHale 46), Sall, Hatswell, Advice-Desrulsseaux; Higgins, Flynn (Foster 46); O'Brien (Rickards 46), Russell (Christiansen 46), Gleeson; Diop (Appleby 72).
