A MAN found dead by young campers at a beauty spot was receiving treatment for depression, an inquest heard.
The body of Richard Hartman was discovered at the Old Hills, Callow End, near Worcester, last Friday.
An inquest heard yesterday how packets of empty tablets were found near the Worcester man's body.
Worcestershire coroner Victor Round said a group of youths camping on a nearby common saw the 50-year-old, of Merriman's Hill, Rainbow Hill, collapsed near his car.
They called for help but paramedics pronounced the retired mechanic, who was unmarried, dead at the scene.
Mr Round said no note had been found and that samples from the empty packets would be sent for toxicology analysis. He adjourned the inquest until a date yet to be fixed.
