Christiansen's signing was another major coup for Harriers director of football Jan Molby in January 2004.
The giant Danish striker attracted plenty of interest from clubs in his homeland but he wanted to play in England after a failed trial at Grimsby in 1999.
He penned a two-and-a-half year contract and made his debut in the FA Cup third round clash with Wolves where he impressed with his technique and link-up play.
Christiansen won honours in the Danish Youth League with Odense BK and went on to experience UEFA Cup football but struggled to hold down a first-team place when up against some of Denmark's star strikers.
Settling into English football proved tough with just one goal against Swansea in February but he will hope to come back refreshed for the 2004/05 campaign.
