IT'S been another seesaw time for Winyates Green 250 GP rider Andy Burbidge.

The past month has seen the 24 year old tell of his best ride of the season at Cadwell Park finishing third in the second race to now being in two minds about getting back on his bike for Brands Hatch in two weeks time

"The championship's gone now, I'm 200 points behind the leader," said Burbidge,

"I'm halfway through the season and I don't think I could get into the top three."

Burbidge's confidence after Cadwell turned into more good results at Snetterton despite yet another bit of bad luck.

During practice Burbidge's engine seized while nearly at top speed.

He crashed and hurt his knee but got back on his bike and took respectable fourth and third finishes.

This weekend's meeting was Lyden Hill near Dover where Burbidge managed an 11th place before retiring in the middle of the second race after a stone was sucked into his engine.

He said: "It's a mile circuit but has lots of corners and an uneven track.

"I just didn't know where I was going and 11th place was just really poor for me."
