A RETIRED man's potty idea is coming up roses - almost 40 years after his flash of inspiration.
Former scrapyard owner Ron Skinner has lined his driveway with old toilets for flowerpots.
Ron, of Church View, Naunton Beauchamp, near Pershore, saw an old loo in his yard in 1966 and thought it would make a good flowerpot.
While some people might think his idea was a stinker, it has not deterred the 68-year-old from collecting 14 loos of varying colours.
"I don't know what made me start, really - I just thought they'd make good flowerpots," he admitted.
