ADULT Learners Week will be marked with a variety of activities at the Fairfield Centre in Warndon.

Today adults were due to decorate wine glasses in the morning, and this evening at 6.30pm a class was being held to help get the most out of Microsoft Word.

This will be repeated at 3.30pm tomorrow.

Tomorrow, there will be a class at 1.30pm to help create a newsletter. This will be repeated at 6.30pm.

At 3.30pm a Pinch Pot Pottery class will teach the oldest form of pottery.

Confidence

On Thursday, at 10am Numbers in Everything will teach people how to use maths with confidence. This will be repeated at 3.30pm on Friday.

A three-hour IT surgery will start at 1pm. Members of the public are invited to drop in to the internet caf for free advice and internet access.

On Friday there will be a BBC Peoples' War class to discuss wartime memories and add stories to the BBC Peoples' War website.

An interior painting class will start at 1.30pmwith people asked to bring along any leftover pots of emulsion paint or test pots.
