A DEVOTED fund-raiser in Eckington, near Pershore, has once again done her bit for a good cause.
Culminating with her spring sale last Saturday at Eckington Village Hall, Dorothy Ludlow has raised a total of £2,892.50 in support of the regional medical charity, the Cobalt Unit Appeal Fund.
This was Dorothy's 53rd grand sale since they first began in 1978 and now thanks to 26 years of non-stop energy, generosity and enthusiasm, the charity has received almost £132,000 to aid the purchase of various cancer detecting and treatment facilities.
