TWO second-half goals from Mark Bellingham salvaged a point for Bromsgrove Rovers as they drew 2-2 with Dr Martens Western Division strugglers Cinderford Town.

Cinderford scored two very early goals but were indebted to keeper Andy Fisher for some stunning saves to allow them to take a share of the points.

The vistors took the lead in the third minute. Fisher's long clearance bounced over the heads of the static defensive line and striker Daryl Addis was the first to react. Bromsgrove 'keeper Matt Lowe saved the first effort but could only parry the ball back to Addis who made no mistake.

Four minutes later referee Singh played an excellent advantage after Steve Frost fouled Callum Giddins, the ball running to Richard Kear who shrugged off a couple of challenges before hitting an unstoppable shot into the top corner from the edge of the area.

Rovers spent the rest of the first period camped in the Cinderford half, Fisher pulling off tremendous saves from Paul Szewczyk and Wesley Joyce.

The home team pulled a goal back five minutes into the second half, Kevin Banner's left wing corner headed back across goal by Dave Benton and Bellingham forcing the ball home.

Mark Benbow hit the side netting and Szewczyk headed over the crossbar before Bellingham scored from close range after Fisher dropped the ball.

Fisher somehow pushed the ball off the line from Benton's shot on 84 minutes and substitute Mark Atkinson had a shot cleared.
