A RANGE of spring walks and activities are on offer for Worcestershire residents who might not be sure where to take those first adventurous steps.
The new Countryside Walks and Events programme offers activities from a stroll through bluebell woods and family fun days to evening walks looking for bats, moths and nightingales.
Produced by the county council's Countryside Service, the city council, wildlife trust and other partners, the aim is to find a walk to suit all tastes.
"There are lots of great events and routes for people of all ages and interests to become involved in," said Nikki Campbell, county council community liaison manager.
The brochures listing all walks and events are available free from public libraries, tourist information centres, public attractions, County Hall and visitor centres. Or alternatively call 01905 766493 or log on to www.worcestersh ire.gov.uk/countryside
