GENEROUS Worcestershire residents are being urged to donate cash for a brick to help build a new hospice for sick children in Worcester.
Fran Grantham, manager of Acorns Children's Hospice Trust shop, in Mealcheapen Street, Worcester city centre, has called on shoppers to sign a brick on a special poster in the store and donate at least £2 to help build the new hospice.
The hospice, which is being built in Bath Road, will provide care and support for more than 250 life-limited children from Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire.
The charity is raising the final £1.3m of the £4m it needs to complete the build.
