BROMYARD Town battled through to the final of the Smedley Crooke Cup final after an extra time victory over a much-changed Malvern Town at Delahay Meadow.
BROMYARD TOWN 2, MALVERN TOWN 1 (AET)
Bromyard took the lead in the first half when Andy Crowther fired in a low shot just before half-time.
Malvern came on strong in the second half and following a hand ball in the box, Rob Perrins netted the spot kick to take the game into extra time.
The home side made a good start to the extra period and in the fourth minute a free kick by Crowther deceived everyone but Danny Hilditch, who stabbed the ball in from close range.
A Gareth McCarthy header late on nearly increased the home side's lead but Malvern keeper Jamie Lambert produced the save of the night.
