THE new season of shows at The Roses Theatre, Tewkesbury has been announced.

Starting in May, former BBC royal reporter Jennie Bond will be answering the audience's questions on her job and stint on I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!

Other visitors in May include poet Pam Ayres and singer Raymond Froggat, Jekyll and Hyde - A Musical and tributes to The Eagles and the Beach Boys.

In June Chris Dean brings with him the Syd Lawrence Orchestra and Singers, while wartime melodies from the likes of Vera Lynn, Gracie Fields and George Formby are recreated by singers and dancers in We'll Meet Again.

The Swansea City Opera will present Mozart's Cosi Fan Tutti and New York jazz sensation Stacey Kent will be performing, ahead of a production of Patrick Marber's Closer by the London Classic Theatre Company and the boogie-woogie antics of King Pleasure and the Biscuit Boys.

July starts with Mercury, a tribute to Queen and also includes Dance Dynamite and music from The Wonderful West End.
