A SIXTH form rock band is doing a farewell tour of the Malvern area before its members go their separate ways when they finish their A'Levels.

Headova is Chase pupils Pete Palmer, Ben Martin, Sam Roberts, James Southern and Simon Puttick, who are all 17 or 18-years-old.

The band has been together for around three years and Simon described its style of music as "melodic rock".

He said although they were all off to university, the musicians would get back together in the holidays to do some gigs and have a jam.

"But we're not going to be able to do it every week which is what we do at the moment," he said.

"We're just doing these gigs to have a bit of fun before it all ends."

Headova play tomorrow (Saturday) at The Wyche Inn, Malvern at 8pm.

The other gigs are at The Pheasant, Welland on April 23 at 8pm, The Walwyn Arms, Colwall on April 24 at 8pm and the Great Malvern Club, Malvern on May 1 again at 8pm.

The band will also play the Marr's Bar in Worcester on May 27 at 8pm.
