KIDDERMINSTER Harriers director of football Jan Molby has been handed a four-match touchline ban by an FA tribunal. He has also been fined £1,500.
Molby was charged with using foul and abusive behaviour towards a match official following a controversial decision to award Southend United a penalty in February's 3-0 defeat at Roots Hall.
He had requested a personal hearing but was not able to attend the meeting on its original date and Harriers believed the FA had agreed to an adjournment. The case went ahead, however, in his absence.
The Dane said: "It would have been nice to be able to put my case forward, but we'll just let it lie now."
The ban applies to the last two games of this season and the first two of next term.
Meanwhile, Harriers have decided against extending striker Ian Foster's loan spell.
Molby, however, has not ruled out the Chester City campaigner returning on a permanent basis next season. The decision not to renew the 27-year-old's loan for a third month follows his sending off on Monday which meant he would face a three-match ban.
