I am writing on behalf of the committee of Ledbury and District Amateur Swimming Club (LADASC) to draw attention to an inaccurate statement in a letter from Don Rule that was published in your newspaper last week.
The inaccuracy is that, by implication, LADASC has been consulted over the water temperature at Ledbury Pool. The committee of LADASC has never been consulted over the temperature of the water at the pool. In fact, if we had been we would prefer that it was a little warmer for the benefit of our younger swimmers.
Please may I take this opportunity to say again that the committee of LADASC has been, and always will be, willing to negotiate on any aspect of our relationship with Halo.
Stuart Houghton (vice-chair LADASC), Stuart Houghton Limited, Little Marcle Road, Ledbury.
