UPTON Youth Band is aiming to hit all the right notes after a successful appeal for sponsorship.
The band plan to compete in the World Showband Championships at Bournemouth in July and have been appealing for support to help them on their way.
One sponsor has provided the group with a van to transport their instruments, a coach operator has given them a reduced rate for their travel and they have been awarded a £200 grant towards costs from the organisers of the event.
