ON Sunday, April 18, at the Free Church in Colwall there will be an all age celebration at 10.30am and, in the evening at 6.30pm, Tony Waters will be the speaker. All are welcome.
The Royal British Legion Women's Section is holding a jumble sale in the Club Room in Crescent Road tomorrow (Saturday). Doors open at 2.30pm. Admission 20p.
Colwall Players will be holding their AGM on Friday, April 23, in the Jean Simon Room of the Village Hall. The meeting begins at 7.30pm.
On Saturday, April 24, a Conservative coffee morning will take place from 10.30am to noon at 5 Oak Drive, Colwall. Entrance is £1.
Members of Churches Together in Colwall took part in the annual Good Friday Walk of Witness through the village on Good Friday afternoon. Starting on Colwall Green, there was a brief act of worship at St Crispin's Chapel, readings at Chevenham and outside the Library, ending at the Free Church with a final hymn, reading and prayers.
