A MAN has been fined after an ongoing dispute with a neighbour.
At Worcester Magistrates, Lesley Ashton, prosecuting, said a "verbal altercation" took place on Tuesday, March 23, between the defendant, Mark Drinkwater and Alex Kelly, his neighbour, who was passing the address.
"Later that day at 8pm Mr Kelly was in the kitchen, making a cup of tea, taking to his friend when he became aware of several loud bangs on his front door," said Miss Ashton.
"He went outside and Mr Drinkwater was shouting at him saying 'You rang the police'."
Ahmed Hussain, defending, said there had been no more verbal problems between the two.
"The dispute between the two neighbours has been an ongoing dispute but there's been no problems since," said Mr Hussain.
"They both need to respect each other's property and privacy, I hope the matter is at an end."
Drinkwater, of Albert Road, Evesham, admitted the Section 5 Public Order charge when the hearing was held yesterday.
The unemployed 32-year-old was fined £100 for the public order charge, and ordered to pay £55 towards prosecution costs.
