BEING pregnant has never been so chic. A-list personalities Gwyneth Paltrow, Sophie Ellis Bextor and Courtney Cox are all expecting and the likes of Kate Winslet and Kate Moss are proud new mums rarely seen without their offspring in tow.

So for mums-to-be, the forthcoming Baby Show at the NEC Birmingham, from May 21 to 23 is the must-see event of the year.

The Shuttle/Times and News has joined up with the organisers to run a competition where five readers can each win a pair of tickets to the show, worth £12 each.

The Baby Show Birmingham, in association with Practical Parenting magazine, is an essential day out for new parents and parents-to-be.

Throughout the day there will be a series of information workshops hosted by Practical Parenting magazine experts and midwives.

Visitors will also be able to try, test and buy from thousands of essential products.

To be in with a chance of winning, answer the following question:

Which actress, married to Coldplay singer Chris Martin, is expecting a baby? by Friday, April 23.

Aiming to prove that "bump" doesn't have to mean "frump", the show is also looking for stylish pregnant ladies from across the Midlands to star in a special catwalk fashion feature at the Show.

Nominations can be made on line at www.thebabyshow.co.uk or by calling 0161 273 5923 and asking for an entry pack. The closing date is May 4, 2004.
