MALVERN Town opened the scoring within two minutes of the start of this home league cup tie.
MALVERN TOWN RESERVES 3, HINTON 0
A quickly taken free kick by Rob Perrins caught the Hinton goalie napping as the ball slipped through his fingers for a soft goal.
The goalie then made three cracking saves whilst his defence offered little in the way of support.
Midfielder Mark Rollins met a well struck corner and his header was goal bound but Perrins made sure, by tapping the ball in.
Geordie Beauchamp delivered a number of well struck corners and had a 25 yard run, striking the ball well, only to see his shot sail wide of the left hand post.
Fifteen minutes into the second half the Hinton left back won the ball and instead of clearing upfield, passed it back across his own 18 yard box, where Danny White was waiting and he accepted the easiest of chances to drill the ball home.
