PREPARATIONS for the coming season get under way this weekend at Colwall Cricket Club.
On Sunday, March 28, former club captain, David Sutton, will be leading a new training venture at John Masefield School, Ledbury. Running from 10.30am until 3.30pm an intensive programme of activities will prepare the players who will represent the clubs four senior elevens.
The programme will include skills practices, conditioning work, team building and mental preparation.
Having worked hard training it will be time for a more relaxing activity for on the same day, starting at 1pm and running throughout the afternoon the club will holding its annual Car Treasure Hunt.
This family event is open to all club members and their friends. Organiser, Keith Holland has prepared his fun, occasionally fiendish, and always entertaining route and will be keeping his eagle eye on proceedings.
There will be refreshments laid on afterwards in the clubhouse for all those taking part and the competition to find all the answers should be fierce. Please note that the date published in the club newsletter for the Treasure Hunt was incorrect due to an error.
Any members who would like further details should contact Keith Holland.
