FOLLOWING recent media coverage about sex education and the need for parents to be more frank with their children on the subject - we at the charity Parentline Plus would like parents to know that there is help on hand for them to do just that.
Parentline Plus runs a campaign entitled Time to Talk which has been specifically developed to support parents to talk to their children about sex and relationships.
We know that parents can find it difficult to get the conversation going and that they are looking for help doing this.
Time to Talk is designed to develop their confidence in talking to their children about sex and relationships. It gives parents the props and strategies which will easily allow them to open, and to keep open, communication with their children whatever their age, and to continue to emphasise that the earlier in childhood that such conversations begin, the better.
