A one-month loan deal took the vastly experienced Viveash from Swindon to Harriers in early March as injury and suspension hit Harriers' defence.

The dominant centre-back chose against signing a new one-year deal with Division One club Reading and dropped down a level to join Swindon in the summer of 2003.

But the move back-fired when Viveash lost his place in the back-three following a poor run of games and then personal problems hindered his return.

Viveash had started his career in his home town Swindon but was unable to force his way into the team during their brief Premier League spell.

He left for Walsall permanently in 1995 after a loan period and became a stalwart at the Midlands club, guiding them through promotion to Division One in 1999 and winning two player-of-the-year awards.

Viveash also bagged 10 goals from defence in one season and was a popular figure there before leaving for Reading on a Bosman free in 2000.

After a strong first season, the uncompromising defender lost his place with a groin injury not helping and ended up on a 15-game loan at Oxford in season 2002/03 where he impressed in Division Three.

He returned to Reading and captained them in their final two Division One games only to leave on a free for Swindon shortly afterwards.
