Burton Colts 20 Bromsgrove 17
THE young Boars suffered a narrow defeat - their first of the year - against a Burton outfit who were able to field six replacements to none from Bromsgrove.
The Boars, missing several players unable to play for a variety of reasons, put in a heroic performance, but just didn't have enough in their collective tank to finish off Burton, and of course the home team were out for revenge having lost to Bromsgrove earlier in the season 17-8.
Unfortunately they failed to cope with their fly-half Cole who scored 15 of their points - one or two due to silly mistakes by Bromsgrove.
Colts brought the scores back to 17 all with tries from Oliver, Dignam and Davies, and a Crook conversion only to lose out in the closing stages.
