DEAN Goddard (pictured) marked his full senior debut for Droitwich Spa RFC First XV by giving them victory with a late try.
The 21-year-old prop was on hand to score a crucial touchdown to give his side a 20-10 success in a match which also saw the return of winger Jamie Faulkener after six weeks out.
Droitwich fell behind to a penalty before a period of pressure saw veteran prop Paul Bowditch crash over for the hosts. Matt Blackmore added a penalty soon afterwards.
Faulkener later carved the defence apart to score under the posts. Blackmore added the conversion.
Keresley got a try back before the break to trail 15-10.
The hosts raised their efforts in the second half and as the end drew near, Ian Craig took a lineout well and the pack drove forward where Goddard was on hand to touch down.
