FORMER Kidderminster Harriers goalkeeper Paul Jones is being linked with Liverpool.
The Welsh international, who made 242 appearances for Harriers between 1986 and 1991, is currently out of favour at Southampton.
The 36 year-old has emerged at the top of Liverpool boss Gerard Houllier's list to cover for the loss of injured Jerzy Dudek and Chris Kirkland.
Portsmouth, however, are the Reds main rivals for Jones' signature.
Meanwhile, Harriers have obtained additional tickets for next Tuesday's FA Cup third round replay against Wolves at Molineux after their initial 3,100 allocation sold out within an hour of going on general sale.
An additional 800 seats have been allocated to Harriers fans in the South West corner.
The Aggborough ticket office will be open until 5pm today and again on Sunday between 10am and noon if any tickets remain unsold.
