BROMSGROVE Rovers let a two-goal lead slip to draw 2-2 at Ilkeston Town.
George Rooney's side were ahead in the Dr Martens Western clash on 15 minutes through Mark Bellingham, his third in as many starts.
Steve Pope, playing with a heavily strapped ankle following a knock at Yate, got the second two minutes before the break when he headed home Mark Benbow's free-kick.
But the lead lasted just 60 seconds as Chris Freestone struck and Andy Evans equalised for Ilkeston nine ninutes into the second half.
Rovers, who have no game this Saturday following Atherstone's resignation, also gave a debut to Simon Fitter, signed from Kidderminster Harriers.
