EXPRESS travelled to Callow End for their third encounter of the season with the Old Bush.

With several players on the EGGS weekend Mark Taylor was forced to make changes as well as signing on a goalkeeper.

THE OLD BUSH 3, EXPRESS 88 6

Express started the game brightly and should have taken the lead on five minutes but Lee Hooper's effort was adjudged not to have crossed the line. With Express still mystified by this, the Old Bush took the lead within minutes as the unfamiliar back four failed to clear their lines.

The lead was short lived as Hooper soon equalised with a fierce shot and moments later he struck again. The Old Bush kept applying pressure to Express and were rewarded on 35 minutes when a free kick was headed into his own goal by Rob Kelly.

On the stroke of half time Sean Clarke latched onto a through ball from Mark Brookes to hammer Express into a 3-2 lead.

In the second half the Old Bush came out all guns blazing and a mix up between Tim Clarke and Owain Rowat resulted in Sam Black equalising straight from the restart.

Express were quick to correct themselves as Robbie Perrins and Hooper scored in quick succession to make it 5-3. Stand-in captain Scott Mason then missed from close range with the goal at his mercy before Perrins completed the scoring ten minutes from time when he finished well after a corner from the right.
