WORCESTERSHIRE return to County Championship action tomorrow when they open their match against Gloucestershire at New Road.

The County have yet to finalise their side although there are unlikely to be many changes from the line-up for their last Championship match which ended in an innings win over Derbyshire.

Paceman Stuart Lampitt is back in contention for a place after being rested at Derby, but the County will be checking on the fitness of left-arm quickie Alamgir Sheriyar who limped off towards the end of Worcestershire's win over Lancashire last night.

The County will be bidding to complete a Championship 'double' over Gloucestershire who were beaten by skipper Gra-eme Hick's men by 252 runs at Bristol in late May.

Meanwhile, Worcestershire reduced Somerset to 6-2 in their Second XI clash at Taunton, having been bowled out for 227 with James Pipe top-scoring on 40.
