THE chairman of Oxenhall Parish Hall Trust is Anne Thompson, the secretary is Sylvia Wilson. The secretary and booking clerk is Jan Daines. Already events are organised for the year. They include a quiz evening on April 23, which is St George's Day, strawberry teas on Sunday, June 20, a parish lunch on Sunday, August 22, an apple day on Sunday, October 17 and a parish walk on Tuesday, December 28. The service at St Anne's Church, Oxenhall on Sunday, March 14, is family communion conducted by the rector, Reverend Pat Phillips at 11am. The next Sunday, March 21, is Mothering Sunday and there will be a service at 11am. All very welcome.
The annual meeting of Oxenhall Parochial Church Council will be in Oxenhall Parish Hall on Tuesday, March 16, at 7.30pm. Any parishioners interested in church affairs are welcome. The annual accounts and reports will be presented. Discussion on future projects regarding the upkeep of the church will take place.
