AFC Deers Leap had a successful weekend in the Worcester and District Football League with both their teams recording impressive results.

The reserves led the way with an emphatic 9-3 home win over Plumbers Arms in Sunday Division Four, Ethan Williams and Dean Wyard both hitting hat-tricks.

Their first team also won, 3-2 at Perdiswell, Rob Lennon (2) and Darren Cox on target for the Leap, Matt Phillips and Dave Lewis replying for Perdiswell.

In Division One Powick thrashed Archdales Reserves 7-0, Luke Marshall (3) and Chris Jones (2) their main scorers.

Lee Hooper cracked a hat-trick and Rob Perrins added a brace as Express 88 won 6-3 at The Old Bush.

Darren Tafft was another hat-trick man in AFC Mazak's 7-3 home win over Kays Athletico and an Andy Lamb strike gave Pinvin victory at Perrywood Reserves.

Reality Rangers clinched promotion from Division Three with a 4-2 win against Bransford Rovers.

Nathan Endacott netted twice for Reality with Rovers stalwart Nick Melnyk scoring his first ever goal after nine loyal seasons.

Dave Hooper and Chris Newman both bagged a brace for Bringsty Sports in their 5-2 success at Barbourne Celtic, Jodie Wood scoring twice for Celtic.

On Saturday, Premier Division title favourites, Tolladine Sports, suffered a shock 4-1 home defeat at the hands of Droitwich Spa, Justin Elvins bagging two for the visitors.

In the other Premier Division match played Langland Sports beat Henwick Academicals 3-1 with goals from Dale Humphries (2) and Nick Kordas.

In Division One All Blacks hammered Fernhill Heath Spurs 9-1. Chris Sheridan notched a hat-trick and there was a brace each for Paul Cole and Steve Smith.

A Simon Ledbury strike secured three points for Inkberrow A Reserves against Goodrest Sports and goals from Paul Edwards and Alistair Finch gave Welland Athletic a 2-1 home win over Lamb & Flag.

Koinonia drew 3-3 with Oak Apple, George Platt (2) and John Dells on target for Koinonia.

In the Phipps Cup West Malvern went through 3-1 against Bransford Rovers with goals from Ben Pearson, Ken McEwan and Greg Innis.

Hanley Swan just missed out on a place in the Worcestershire FA Saturday Minor Cup Final, going out 4-1 on penalties after a creditable 1-1 draw after extra-time at West Hagley.
