MANOR Park's mixed tennis firsts did themselves no harm at all in their pursuit of a third successive county winter title with a 4-0 victory over rivals Pershore.
The team strengthened by Vicky Watts, a new arrival from Ross, and Rob Davies, recently returned to the area, performed well against determined opposition. Alice Huskisson and Geoff Smith, team regulars, made up the Malvern side.
The team now look forward to a couple of crunch matches against Worcester and Droitwich to decide the season's victor.
