THE inaugural production by the Village Theatre Company was a sell-out success.
The company performed Keith Waterhouse's Jeffrey Bernard is Unwell at Upton Memorial Hall on Friday and Saturday (January 23 and 24) and all the tickets were quickly snapped up. Company founder Bob Clarke, who also played the lead role, said the experience had been "brilliant" and that he was now hoping to stage a performance of the show in Cheltenham during Gold Cup race week in March.
