NO investigation will be carried out into a claim that South Worcestershire Primary Care Trust failed to properly consult the public over the planned medical centre at Upton.
Malvern Hills District Council's overview and scrutiny committee decided this week against taking further action.
The matter was referred to the committee by Worcestershire County Council's health scrutiny panel, which received the original complaint from an Upton resident. The county itself agreed that although the proper procedures were not followed, the consultation that had taken place was sufficient.
MHDC's strategic director Kevin Douglas said that an earlier finding that the proper procedures had not been followed meant an investigation by the council would be unnecessary.
