YOUNG builders at Studley Community Infants School recently took part in a hands-on experience to build a house of their own.
The Can We Build It? day was organised by the Warwickshire Education Business Partnership in conjunction with the Construction Industry Training Board.
More than 120 five and six year olds looked at construction-related activities, including health and safety, the building process and jobs, as well as building their own little houses using terracotta mini bricks and mortar.
Resident builders for the day were Steve Cosmett and Alan Townend, contracts and site managers from Meades of Evesham, who are currently carrying out extensive building work at the school.
