Our January meeting was very well supported and we all enjoyed the get-together after the Christmas break.
Business was fairly brief and soon dealt with.
Some of our members are interested in a "Map Day" outing.
Our speaker, Dave Lord, entertained us with his stories of battles and conditions during the Civil War. He was in full uniform as a Pike Man and regaled us with very gory tales and demonstrations, with his very impressive array of weapons.
About 25 of us will get together for a post-Christmas meal at McKee's at the end of the month.
We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at the Parish Centre, Studley, and everyone is welcome.
