A BLIND clairvoyant who has done readings for bands, including Ash and Coldplay, is bringing her stage show Second Sight to the Palace Theatre.

Sharon Neill, a psychic medium who has been blind from birth, is appearing in Redditch as part of her first UK tour.

Sharon, 36, from Belfast, draws in crowds of more than 2,000 to her shows and "brings messages from departed relatives and friends and hope, help and solace to many".

One member of her early audiences was Ash bass player Mark Hamilton.

In a statement from Ash, the band said: "Mark had been seeing Sharon for personal reasons and to be quite honest, we were all a bit sceptical.

"We were in the middle of filming a short film for Channel 4 and Mark brought her down to the set.

"We'd been having problems with filming ever since we'd arrived - things wouldn't work, the power would go down and it was cold, even though we had huge industrial heaters blasting in every room.

"We were in our dressing room feeling pretty miserable when Sharon came in and told us there were some spirits trapped that needed help 'crossing over'.

"She claimed several people had died in the building - including a couple who had been murdered.

"A couple of hours later the place started to warm-up and all our problems began to disappear."

Second Sight is being staged on Friday, February 20.

Tickets cost £12 on 65203.
