YOUNGSTERS from a Blackwell school have been learning basketball skills from some of the best in the business.
Players from the Birmingham Bullets have given two hours a week to help teach students at Hunter's Hill School, in Spirehouse Lane.
One-hour training sessions take place on Mondays and Tuesdays between 4 and 5pm where pupils, aged between 11 and 15, are shown basic handling and ball skills.
Bullets stars have been running the classes for around eight months following a lottery grant. As a result the school has set up a basketball team and has so far played one match.
Teacher Mark Hudson said: "It has been helping them improve their basketball because they enjoy it and really want to do it."
