PUPILS at Ipsley Middle School enjoyed a new musical experience on Friday when they learnt to play the African Djembe drums during a workshop.
Professional musician Rod Smith led a two-day workshop at the Winyates Way school, linked to the children's studies of world music and culture.
Rod Smith teaches Steven Foxall, 11, and Corryn Smith, 10, a few beats on the Djembe drums.
