youngsters from Wychbold First and Nursery have been getting in touch with nature thanks to their special forest school area.
The site in the school grounds is an area where birds can visit and feed. It was set up by the youngsters last year.
Recently, the tots made some bird cakes for their winged friends using a mixture of lard, nuts and seed.
Headteacher Eleanor Sinton said: "The forest school has benefitted the children enormously and teaches them about the importance of taking care of wildlife, such as birds and their environment.
"It is a lot of fun and builds the children's confidence and self-esteem," she added.
