Nancy Butterfly Women's Morris are having another recruitment drive and if anyone thinks that exercising is boring, they should come and give Morris dancing a try. We dance in the style of North West Clog and are having two open evenings and would welcome any newcomers to either evening when you can watch us dance and have a chat.
The open evenings will be held on February 2 and 16 at The Methodist Church Hall, Evesham Road, Headless Cross, Redditch at 8.15pm or you can call on 01527 576251.
In addition to dancers, we are also welcoming musicians. Age of the dancers is not an issue but a relatively good fitness level is preferred as the dances are quite energetic. We dance out at pubs, fetes and festivals during the summer and practice during the winter so anyone thinking of joining will have until April to learn a couple of dances and then be able to join us for our summer dance outs, which will include Upton Folk Festival and Avoncroft Museum.
