Celebrations for Christmas were held at Littleheath Nurseries restaurant where 30 plus members enjoyed an excellent meal and fun evening.
Our New Year started with a meeting on January 7 which was a talk by Philip Aubrey from the botanical gardens, on The Care of House Plants. We learnt quite a few tips that were new to us and sincerely hope that our Christmas presents will last much longer.
We were able to purchase some super plants, which he had brought along to show us. Our next meeting will be held at Burcot Village Hall on February 4 at 7.30pm. Everyone is welcome. The talk will be on A Year in the Life of an Astronaut.
